My MAC lipstick collection!

Hola ladies,

My favorite brand of lipsticks of all time is MAC! They have so many different colors and finishes (matte, my fave) available. I think they are quite affordable. Well, compared to other high end brands, they are pretty affordable ($16). These lipsticks have great pigmentation and texture. I have a total of 22 lipsticks in my collection. It is an obsession, now that we can get passed the fact that I have a problem, lets move on to the lipsticks, lol.

When bringing out my lipsticks I realized I have more limited edition colors than I do have the permanent ones. I think since, they are limited edition I justify by saying, "I probably won't ever be able to get my hands on it again, I need it"! and there you go, i place my order for the LE lipstick, plus they are always have some kind of pretty packaging! Btw, if it's limited edition, it means it isn't available anymore. The permanent ones are colors you can still get at any mac store, counter, or online!

Permanent colors

Rebel, Vegas Volt, All Fired Up, Candy Yum-Yum, Heroine,
Flat Out Fabulous, Lady Danger, Ruby Woo, Girl About Town

You might have noticed that I only own bright colors. For my skin tone, I really like how bold colors look on me. I get scared with nudes because they make me look washed out. Therefore most of my nude lipsticks are drugstore!

These are my all time fave and most used.

Ruby woo, Looks orange here because of the lighting (the struggle), but it's a classic, true red!
Rebel, Fave color to use in the fall.
Heroine, It used to be LE, but since so many people loved it, Mac made it a permanent color!
Flat Out Fabulous & All Fired Up, both are from the retro matte collection, I LOVE these colors!

Heres a picture of the colors that are limited edition, I didn't want to swatch them because basically you can't get them at the Mac or online. People might be selling them online, but most likely overpriced or used.
PARTY PARROT, omg, all time fave! So pretty!

See you later!

Must have eyeshadow palettes

Hello ladies,
I'm going to be showing you which eyeshadow palettes, I think, every girl needs in her makeup collection!

I have a drawer-full of palettes! My name is Anabel and I have a makeup hoarding problem! LOL. But I'm here to show you which are the essentials and how you probably don't need a drawer full of them.

I have my top four that I use and feel are universal to anyone who loves makeup. Weather you're a beginner or a junkie status (me). I'm not going to show swatches because I'm sure you can find a million posts, but I will include my photos of each item. 😘

Lorac pro palette ($42)

This is my absolute fave, I think it's way underrated. These colors are so pigmented and easy to blend. There's the top row of mattes and the bottom of shimmer.
As you can see mine is beat up because I use it so much! I've used this for everyday, night out, wedding. Basically any ocasion.

You have the lighter shades for day time, but you can easily smoke it out for a night out with espresso or black shadow!

Second must have,

Urban decay naked palette ($52)

You need this palette in your life! It's a staple item in a girls collection. Either the naked 1 or 2 can be used for everyday and multiple looks. Personally, I used this palette over the naked 2 anyday.

As you can see I've hit pan on "buck" and serious damage to "sin"! When I first started using makeup, this was the first palette I bought. Now It isn't my go-to anymore since I have so many other palettes. But this is definitely one, I recommend to beginners.

Third,
Urban decay basics ($27)

This goes along, with my second post, urban decay has some amazing eyeshadows. Their pigmentation is great and easy to use/blend.

When this first came out I thought I really didn't need it, but surprisingly I use it a lot. I like to throw it in my makeup bag when I go out to do any touch ups. This is also great for beginners. It's really a no brainer you can't fail with this one.

Finally, I have my mac eyeshadows.
(Price varies)

The palette itself is ($10) the palette + insert.
Each shadow if you buy the pan itself is ($10)

It does come out very pricy but these shadows are worth every penny.
I didn't buy all these shadows at once, I would buy a couple here and there. That's how I built my palette, also some shadows were ones I depotted or were gifted to me. Some of these colors are my absolute fave and are used everyday.

My fave is "soft brown". It's the one on the bottom right next to the orange one It may seem like just any other brown but this one really makes my eye shadow blend nicely and a great transition color.

Mac can be overwhelming because they have so many colors and options. So I might do a separate post about my mac essentials.

I hope this post helps you out. Feel free to ask me anything! Remember makeup is suppose to be fun, don't take it so seriously! Buy things that make you happy and that you love!

Talk to you later loves!

Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color!

left to right: Fiery Coral, Pink Rave, Violet Addict
Hola Ladies,

I finally found these babies at my local Walgreens for $6.49. I was hoping for a BOGO or any other sale, but this week there wasn't any deal, but I couldn't skip out on these. I found the new regular glosses at my CVS, but I wasn't too impressed. I really wanted these for a full color, which they totally are. They are really bright and pigmented!!

There are four colors in this formula. I bought 3 out of the 4. I'm not really into red glosses, I prefer a matte red, so I just reached for these other 3 colors. I love that they are really vibrant. These definitely scream spring and summer! They do have a strange scent, that I can't quite pinpoint, kind of like vanilla frosting. I also found that the names of the color don't really match the color in the tube.

Fiery Coral, my least fave, it is super NEON! This is definitely the brightest. It kind of reminds me of Mac "Candy Yum-Yum". I would say this looks like a barbie pink on me, far from coral. I would of named this one "Pink Rave"

Pink Rave, my FAVE! It compliments my skin perfectly. Its such a fun color, without being too in your face.

Violet Addict, I was most excited about this one. I would say I'm a "violet addict", I couldn't get enough purples this fall/winter. The color is nice, but it was disappointing, I wanted MORE purple, not what I expected.

What do you think on these??

"Esperanza" NEW Kat Von D Spring Palette

My IMATS LA 2014 Experience/Haul!

Hello loves,

This month has been so great for me, for starters, I turned 25!! So it has been a lot of celebrating and self reflection. Hence, why I started this blog. I really want to share what I love to the world, and to my fellow beauty lovers. For my birthday I decided to treat myself to IMATS LA. It was amazing!! I went with a couple of my closest girlfriends, it sure was nice to get away from the cold back at home in Chicago!

Flats: Tory Burch Reva Ballerina
Watch: Michael Kors Runway Rose-Gold
Purse: LV Speedy 25

Saturday morning we woke up super early to get ready. In our minds, we thought we would be in the first people in line, doors opened at 8:30AM. To our surprise, we got to the convention center and the line was around the corner!!!! It was insane. There were so many girls there, I couldn't believe it. After waiting for about half an hr, we finally got in, checked in and we ran straight to the Anastasia Beverly Hill's line, we needed to get our hands on the contour kit, that has been impossible to get online. While in line, we noticed Dose of colors which was next to the Anastasia booth, so we checked out their glosses. I ended buying three of them, which are amazing and super pigmented! Now, I wish I would of got more colors and maybe some lipsticks....

left to right: Wild Child (my fave), Sunshine Kisses, Purple Fusion

After finally getting our contour kits,  I spotted Lizzy (whatwouldlizzydo), I love her crazy self, lol.  I am not going to lie, I was super nervous and no idea what to say, but she was so nice. Surprisingly,  all the girls we met, were so sweet. It was nice to have one on one conversations with them and take pictures. Some of the girls included my friends and I in their IMATS vlog, I was so excited! What people fail to realize is that they are just like you and me. We all love makeup and thats what brings us together. In their case they have thousands of people watching them.  Here I have a picture of all the things I bought, I think if the lines weren't as long, I would of done a lot more damage!

Sigma FlatTop Kabuki, Mac Peach Lustre Highlight, Brow Wiz
Free Lipstick, Hoochie Lip Tar, Dose of colors, Anastasia Contour kit
Mac Paint Pot in "Quite Natural" & Inglot Black Gel Liner #77

We later, waited in line at the Million Dollar Tan booth, to meet Nicole Guerriero and Jaclyn Hill. We got in line at 10:30 am, she wasn't scheduled to be there until noon. I stood in line, while my friends went to the Sigma and Lime Crime booth, the lines were crazy long at those booths as well. Nicole was there on time, she looked so pretty and was super sweet! I don't even know what I said to her, but I kept hugging her and taking selfies, lol. The girls from Million Dollar Tan would print out your picture if you uploaded your picture to instagram and hashtag'ed their name, which was pretty cool of them to do.

Overall, it was a great experience, it was definitely overwhelming, but I'm glad I experienced it. I'm not sure if I would attend again, because I don't think that the waiting to get something you want is worth it. I rather shop online and not feel pressured or rushed. It was great meeting the YouTube beauty vloggers that I love to watch, I think that was the best part of the whole experience. I encourage others who love makeup to go, so you can experience it for yourself. They are having this same event in New York in April. If you want to see any of the products closer, let me know! Show me your haul! TTYL <3

Welcome to my first post, I am a lover of all makeup. Drugstore and "high end" alike. I'm here to share what I love. I would consider myself a makeup hoarder, enthusiast, junkie…All for the love of beauty. welcome to my world ladies!

Here I have 5 of the 22 NYX Butter lipsticks which I LOVE! I got mine at Ulta for $5.99, while they were having a BOGO 1/2 off sale (until the end of jan) plus a 20 percent off coupon. I can't stay away from a good deal :D

I usually stay away from a nude lip and go for a bold one, thats what works for me, but they offer a great range of lighter colors as well.
From left to right
Licorice, Hunk, Little Susie, Fireball, Sweet Tart

I would definitely purchase more of these! I love how creamy and pigmented they are!

Did you ladies grab any, which are your faves?
